Bible Studies

• Basic Bible Study (Co-ed)
  Adult men and women of all ages meet weekly on Monday nights September through May from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.  Pastor Lew VanderMeer leads the group in a lively discussion of a book of the Bible and the snacks are always great!
   
• Wednesday Night Adult Bible Study (Co-ed)
  Led by Pastor Lew VanderMeer, this group meets every Wednesday night from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. September through May.   The group begins with prayer requests and a prayer time followed by an interesting discussion of a book of the Bible.
   
• Women’s Bible Fellowship (Women)
  This group, for adult women of all ages, meets the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. from September through May.   Pastor Lew VanderMeer leads the Bible Study, followed by a short business meeting and a social time.  Women’s Bible Fellowship does fundraisers throughout the year.
   
• Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study (Women)
  Women of all ages are invited to join this friendly group for a Bible Study geared towards women’s spiritual growth.  This group meets weekly on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. September through May.  Refreshments start off the morning followed by Bible Study, prayer requests and prayer time.  Child care is available.

Friendship Ministries (special needs)
Friendship Ministries is a ministry to people who have mental impairments.  The group meets every other Thursday night, from 6:45 – 8:15 p.m. and includes a time for singing, stories, activities and refreshment.  We also have quarterly outings where we do fun things like bowling, going out to eat or to a ball game.

Sports Groups

• Bowling League
  The New Community Bowling League bowls every other Saturday at Westgate Lanes on Alpine NW at 5:45 p.m. September through May.  The league is open to anyone over 18 years old.  Form your own 4-person team or we will put you together with others to form a team.
   
• Golf League
  The New Community Golf League plays weekly on Thursday’s beginning in early May for 16 weeks at Braeside Golf Club in Rockford.  The league is open to men and women, 18 years and older.  Visit www.golfweb.ws/4485 for more information.
   
• Men's Softball
  The New Community Men’s Softball Team plays at the Christian Reformed Recreation Center from mid May through early August on Tuesday nights.  Men over the age of 18 years old are welcome to join the team.
