The NCC Story

We stand for Lives Changed By Christ

We embrace all Bible-based, Christ-centered church traditions and do not require a specific doctrinal statement or unique church ritual/practice to be a member of the church. Membership is defined by faith in Jesus Christ, devotion to the Bible, and participation in the congregation. We are an independent, non-denominational congregation rooted in Reformation teachings, with the Heidelberg Catechism and the Belgic Confession as our sources of doctrine. We believe God is real and is a knowing and caring person. The Bible clearly and perfectly shows God and His love to us.


The Bible teaches that God is known in three ways:

The Father – that part of God who creates and rules

Jesus – the one who forms the bridge between the Father and us

The Spirit – the invisible part of God who lives in us and among us. Because we violate God and our neighbor, we need Jesus.


Through Him, God the Father forgives us and gives us new hope and a new life. Our goal in life is to enjoy God, to love God, and to enjoy and love each other.

Our Belifes

We believe that church isn't just about a building with a cross. It's about people's relationship with God and each other.

  • Our God

    The Bible teaches that God is Father, Son, and The Holy Spirit. 3 in 1

  • The Bible

    The Bible is a collection of 66 books written through the ages by prophets and apostles of God. God actually put the ideas and teachings into the minds and hearts of the writers and guided them in their choice of words and expressions. (II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20+21). The Bible is necessary to know God’s Truth and to be guided by the Holy Spirit to come to know God and His love. 

  • People

    People are image bearers of God – both Christian believers and people who are not Christians. Therefore, all people must be treated with respect and love as God commands. To abuse people is to abuse God’s creation/image. People are God’s gift to us to bring relationship and support. God will often “speak” to us through the people He gives us.

  • Life and Death

    We carry with us the image of God, as we are formed. We are born according to a specific plan of God for our lives (Psalm 139) and ought to seek the power and joy of forgiveness and the Holy Spirit in day-by-day living. When this life is over, we go immediately to be with God (Philippians 1), having a real, personal existence with God and other believers. When Jesus comes again, our bodies will rise, and we will get them back – refreshed, renewed – and live forever on a refreshed and renewed earth.



  • The Church

    The church is a gathering of God’s people who focus on scripture, worship, and fellowship. We are called to equip bible based believers to use their spiritual gifts to take Jesus to the world.
